Senior Ecologist
Oscar earned his Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Hong Kong in 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from City University of Hong Kong in 2018, where he focused on primary freshwater fish in his thesis. He has practical experience in Hong Kong’s ecology, including conducting ecological surveys and conservation efforts.
He is experienced in identification of various freshwater and terrestrial faunal taxa including birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and dragonflies. He joined Ecosystems Ltd., where he conducts ecological surveys of terrestrial and freshwater fauna, prepares technical aspects of fauna translocation, and manages ecological databases and field data analysis related to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). Additionally, Oscar has experience in eco-tourism, having served as a guide for an eco-tour organized by the Conservancy Association, aimed at educating the public about Hong Kong’s herpetofauna.
