Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of a proposed coastal bridge and highway system to link Hanoi and Haiphong. The study area lies in the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. The EIA was commissioned by Japanese lending authorities for the project and studies were carried out by a team of Vietnamese, Japanese and other international consultants. Ecosystems provided ecological input including conducting baseline field surveys, supervising work carried out by domestic consultants, data analysis, assessment and reporting.
